To help us celebrate Black History Month, 
we are highlighting a different person from Black History
each morning of the morning broadcast.

Because the calendar only allowed for 18 people to be highlighted,
we wanted to spotlight other influential people in Black history.

We have a stair landing of Black writers,

one of Black musicians,

one of Black scientists and mathematicians,

 and a wall of Black athletes.



You can also find some of Grade 8's research papers
adorning the staircases
for those willing to dive deeper
 into a particular event or group in Black history.
